About
As a scholar of medieval literature and culture, I am interested in the production, reproduction, reception, and manipulation of cultural masterplots, the internalized narrative schema that shape worldviews and conceptions of self. Theories of medieval reading and memory practices and their intersection with Classical rhetoric are fundamental to my methodology. My current work builds on these interests in engaging with the history of the emotions in religious formation.
